Windbreaks

A windbreak is just a bunch of trees planted in a row to protect the soil behind it from erosion.

MudSlides

A mudslide blocked out a lot of the highway 95. This mudslide was near the central Idaho town of Riggins. This area was expected to have a rock-slide for a long time but the water from the rain made it a mudslide to. One group this effected was the crews that had to take there time and energy to clear out two rock slides and a mudslide. Another group this effected was the people that were in there cars, trying to get though. This effected them because they traffic was limited throughout Sunday afternoon. They didn't say how much it coasted.

Seawall

A sea wall is just a big wall that protects the land from being taken away by the sea. When you build a sea wall most of the time the beach starts getting smaller and smaller until there is no beach left and it's just rocks piled up.
